If you watch gameplay videos of FFVII or FFVIII, the gameplay looks downright horrible. Hell, if you play any less than the first 45 minutes of the game, the gameplay is pretty bad. JRPGs don't translate well to gameplay videos.
If you have so much to say, put it all in one comment. It's not even like you were replying to people. It's just a waste of your bubbles.
One is on servers and one is P2P... not really comparable on a system level.
then you should have picked good ones.
only if they fail <_< >_>
They should definitely put it back the way it was. The shotgun should take you out of chainsawing just like the first one.
the only other issue that really needs fixing rather than the playerbase adapting to it is the connection issue, which should settle soon.
Both systems (aside from gamecube not having DVD) were superior to the PS2. They were just beat out by aggressive pricing, and a decent game library, that only got larger as the lead increased. The PS2 as a system was less powerful, less reliable, and harder to develop for. It just had a userbase so large you couldn't leave it out of the equation.
It's kind of ironic how sony has neither of the things that made them successful last generation. If microsoft hadn't screwed the pooc...
The PS2 also had no competition, and by the time it did it was the cheapest console with the most games.
They are not comparable except to prove the point that you have run out of legitimate straws to grasp onto.
That this system is going to support XNA community games, making the XBLA library practically explode, and xbox primetime, which provides free games for real prizes.
Nobody's going to care much about the interface as a selling point, but the added customization and features will sell consoles. If you just look at it as a new way to scroll through menus, you need to go back and look at everything that's coming with it.
so leave....
is made of fail.
You are exactly right, I don't know how you got a disagree.
Hackers and virus makers will be able to hack/make a virus for anything. They just do it for the most popular platform at the time. With a lot of companies switching to linux/unix operating systems, I wouldn't be surprised if someone pumped out a wicked linux virus in the near future, and just like you said, a lot of people would be flat out boned.
If you're betaing for gameplay, then you want to do it early. You'll catch and fix a lot of gameplay bugs and glitches. If you're just trying to beta the network/servers you have set up, then you don't need to do it as early. The changes you make will be usually easier to fix, and they will take affect faster most of the time.
I do agree it's nicer to have them earlier regardless, because you'll just get more done before the final game. Sometimes time just doesn't allow for it, a...
can you never call it kizzy every again please?
THEY AREN'T COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS! one is a visual programming language, and one is a game with a level editor. Boku is not for making Boku levels. It's for making new games. It's not a mod tool, it's not a level modifier, it is not a level editor.
Boku is not a game! Boku is a visual programming language for people that don't know programming yet. that... is... all.
I think carcasonne was too?
I'm not saying it's going out the window, but sony doing more research and development into similar technology doesn't mean it's going to explode onto the market.
Those games didn't use servers on the 360...
fail.
apparently people don't like fun games?
It's increasing sales year over year, and is already easily within the reach of the original xbox in a little more than half the time.
I wouldn't call that struggling.
